Maruka USA, owner of Toyo and FCS molding machines, recently consigned a new 65-ton servo hydraulic molding machine to the RJG Hangar lab in Gibsonville, North Carolina. The new FCS HA-65SV has a highly efficient motor and drive system that reduce power consumption by up to 70%. The press also offers the high-end, user-friendly KEBA i2880 12″ high-resolution controller. The 65-ton press has a 26 mm screw with a 1.87 ounces of barrel capacity and 27,174 ppsi of injection pressure.
“We are very pleased to provide an FCS HA-65SV Servo Hydraulic machine for the RJG training facility. The long-standing partnership our companies have enjoyed has been built on the belief of providing our customers the best possible training available in the industry,” said Kevin Bruce, vice president of sales for Maruka USA. “In keeping with RJG’s message of ‘Keep it Simple,’ the FCS machine will show the students the benefits of a user-friendly KEBA Controller, energy savings and the precise molding of the FCS advanced servo system technology.”
The machine will be used in RJG’s DECOUPLED MOLDING® Workshop, Advanced eDART® training, and Master Molder® I and II courses. Students will be able to interact with the machine in a variety of ways to put into practice what they learned in the classroom. This hands-on learning increases retention and provides students with tangible knowledge they can bring back to the plant floor.
“We are excited to partner with Maruka,” said Marty Key, consultant/trainer at RJG. “The consignment of their newest hydraulic machine to our North Carolina training facility will allow our students to receive hands-on training with the industry’s newest technology. We thank Maruka for their contribution to our lab and dedication to advancing technology and learning within the injection molding industry.”
