PCS Company Now Selling Goodway Descaling Systems

Press release submitted on behalf of PCS Company.

Plastics industry solutions provider PCS Company is now selling Goodway portable descaling systems for mold maintenance, water line cleaning and general plant uses.

Made of heavy-duty polyethylene and acid-proof components, the GDS-C40 and larger GDS-C92 descaling units are primarily targeted to remove scale, mineral, rust and grime from cooling passages and water lines. These can be within hot runner systems and injection or die cast molds. These can also be leveraged for general plant use – exchangers, boiler tubes, chiller tubes and more.

Both units feature the innovative Flow Reversal Valve. The valve eliminates the “barrier effect” that occurs when lime scale dissolves, creating foam and gas that impede scale reduction; foam and gas discharges into the descaling tank for optimum performance.

The GDS-C40, with 15 gallon-per-minute flow rate and 10-gallon reservoir, is suited for small applications like oil coolers and heat exchangers. The GDS-C92, with 21 gallon-per-minute flow rate and 15-gallon reservoir, is ideal for larger boilers, chillers and heat exchangers.

Goodway scale-removal systems use biodegradable ScaleBreak industrial descaling solutions. Scalebreak is safe to use on steel, iron, brass, copper, plastic and rubber.

ScaleBreak MP is an all-purpose descaler for dissolving hard limestone deposits and other mineral deposits. ScaleBreak-SS, containing no hydrochloric acid, provides safe, prolonged exposure to stainless steel and eliminates potential hydrogen embrittlement.

“Routine descaling is an essential part of keeping your equipment running properly and extending its useful life,” explained PCS Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Derrick Jones. “Goodway scaling systems and solutions are tailored to heavy-duty industrial use. This clean-in-place technology is ideal for removing various mineral buildups without taking equipment apart. And because these systems are so easy to use, they save labor costs in addition to cutting downtime.”
