PCS Company, Fraser, Michigan, a team of industry experts providing solutions and innovative products for the plastic injection molding, mold making, and die casting industries, announces the addition of Kärcher Dry Ice Blasters to its line of mold maintenance and repair products.

“Cleaning molds and dies has never been more effortless when Kärcher Dry Ice Blaster systems are part of mold and die maintenance,” says Derrick Jones, PCS Company VP of Sales. “There are three powerful systems available, with each offering users the quality construction and durability needed for tough jobs while also providing a range of features that exceed industry standards, making dry ice blasting a more efficient and effective process.”

PCS presents Kärcher Dry Ice Blasting options to suit any mold and die maintenance and cleaning requirements…

Kärcher Model IB 15/120
Powerful and robust, the IB 15/120 provides optimized air streaming through the machine, hose, trigger gun and nozzle for exceptional cleaning results. In addition, users will appreciate such common-sense features as a case holder, easy ice removal, a retaining bracket and storage compartments. Despite its size, this system can be easily transported by one user. Pelletized (3mm max) dry ice capacity is 88 lbs.

Kärcher Model IB 7/40 Advanced
This next-generation system is designed to handle hard continuous use and is well equipped with such notable features as an integrated ground strap coil, a residual ice removal system that prevents the device from freezing once work is complete, as well as an oil and water separator for reliable operations. Optimized air flow produces quality results even when working with low pressures and low air consumption. The jet gun features a remote control for adjusting the jet parameters, stepless control of the jet pressure and the ice delivery volume. Users have the convenience of a digital display to monitor operating parameters as well as statistical values like operating time, ice consumption data and more. Pelletized (3mm max) dry ice capacity is 33 lbs.

Kärcher Model IB 10/8 L2P Classic
Ideal for short-term cleaning applications, the IB 10/8 L2P Classic is the world’s first dry ice blaster with integrated dry ice production made from liquid CO2. “L2P” stands for “Liquid to Pellet,” as users can store liquid CO2 in gas cylinders almost indefinitely and, when needed, make dry ice pellets, eliminating the often time-consuming logistics involved with other systems. This system cleans very gently, making it ideal in cleaning applications that involve complex contours such as grooves and bearings or when dealing with heavy contamination such as burnt-on encrustations. Liquid CO2 consumption rating: 44-132 lbs per hour.

All Kärcher Dry Ice Blaster systems operate on 120 voltage and are CE compliant. PCS Company offers accessories for these dry ice blasters, including flat and long nozzles for hard-to-reach and abrasive areas, ergonomic hand trigger guns and splash guards.
