Product Improvements Include New Stainless-Steel fittings, Pressure Regulator
iD Additives Inc., a supplier of chemical foaming agents, purging compounds, plastic mold cleaners, preventative maintenance cleaning systems, and other products for the plastics industry, announces it has added product improvements to its line of Eco-Pro mold cleaning systems.
Two new safety features have been added to the Eco-Pro systems:
- Stainless Steel Fittings – these fittings have been added as replacements for plastic fittings. The SS fittings hold up better in rugged plant environments and are less likely to crack or break
- Pressure Regulator – a new feature, the pressure regulator controls the air pressure going to the pump. Air pressure varies from plant to plant, and this allows the user to control it to prevent over pressurization of the pump. This regulator lets the user know what psi they are working at when they start to clean and when they’re finished.
Nick Sotos, President of iD Additives, said that these new safety features have been added based on customer feedback to improve the product.

Eco-Pro 360 is a preventative maintenance cleaning system for injection molds, heat exchangers, and chill rolls; it consists of includes a pump and filter combination unit. It removes, protects, and helps prevent rust and limescale within the cooling passages and water lines in the mold. The built-in filter
function allows the Eco-Pro 360 solution to remain at peak performance for optimal reusability.
