Currier Plastics Strengthens Prototyping Capabilities

Currier Plastics Strengthens Prototyping Capabilities

Plastics Business

Currier Plastics, Auburn, New York, has invested in a Haas VF-4 Vertical Machining Center to give the custom molder more flexibility with prototype tool builds and general mold modifications.

The addition of a CNC machine will be used for a variety of applications, including new product development, as well as for upgrades on equipment and manufacturing parts fixtures for Currier’s QA lab. It also will increase Currier’s in house capabilities of tool repair and making spare parts, which means less dependence on outside resources.
