Decatur Plastic Products, Inc. (DPP), North Vernon, Indiana, held an open house in November to showcase its improvements since changing ownership in August 2016.

Mayor Mike Ochs and Vice Chairman and DPP Adviser Gary Riley Sr. attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. DPP offered tours and conducted the speaking portion of its open house in front of a new 1,500-ton press. The day after the open house, another new press arrived, and it is being put together. In total, 198 people attended the Nov. 8 event.

The ownership and management team also have announced many critical initiatives throughout the organization, including quality of life improvements, plant reorganization at its Indiana molding facility, new crane and press installations at its Alabama molding facility and more. These improvements represent a significant investment in time and financial commitment to the company. To make these changes to DPP, the ownership has committed over $4 million in the past year to build a foundation for DPP to grow into the future.
