This year, Venture Plastics, Inc. proudly celebrates 55 years of delivering high-quality injection-molded parts to a wide array of industries. Our success story has been shaped not only by the trust and collaboration of our customers and suppliers, but also by the unwavering commitment, dedication, and teamwork of our employees for over half a century.
Our story began in the late 1950s when Ken Groff, our founder and CEO, first entered the rubber and plastics industry as part of the estimating department at Geauga Industries. With a vision for something greater, he established Venture Plastics, Inc. in 1969 in Warren, Ohio. One of the company’s first milestones was producing the Franzus Clothes steamer, which laid the foundation for the company’s future growth and potential.
By 1973, the company relocated to Newton Falls, Ohio, where it continues to thrive today. Over the years, the facility has evolved, with the addition of new office, warehouse, and lobby spaces in 1986, followed by further expansions of warehouse and shipping capacity between 1995 and 1997.
In 2006, Venture Plastics extended its reach by opening Southwest Venture Plastics in El Paso, Texas. This 61,000-square-foot facility complemented the Newton Falls operations, offering injection molding machines ranging from 55 to 1450 tons and enabling it to serve an even broader customer base with diverse needs.
