Debut at the world’s largest trade fair for the plastics processing industry: technotrans presents the latest generation of its temperature control units at this year’s NPE. technotrans is focusing on application-oriented heating and cooling capacities, modular design and energy efficiency. The thermal management specialist is the only manufacturer on the market to offer solutions in a temperature range from -80 to +430 °C. The temperature control systems with cooling capacities of up to 5,000 kW are particularly energy-efficient thanks to frequency-controlled components – savings of up to 80 percent can be achieved compared to conventional solutions.
Another focal point is the large product range of cooling technology. The proven compact chillers of the ECOtec.chiller pure and xtend series can be configured up to a nominal cooling capacity of 377 kW. The key feature of the chiller series is its high energy efficiency, which actively contributes to the global need to reduce CO2 emissions. technotrans also offers the units with natural refrigerants, thus additionally reducing the CO2 footprint. The same applies to the central cooling systems, which are customized solutions tailored to the production requirements of the plastics industry.

Sustainable and flexible – in every plastics application
technotrans will be exhibiting the compact temperature control units of the teco ci eco and teco cd series at the trade fair stand. The energy-efficient systems are characterized by a small footprint, high power density and precise control technology. An OPC/UA interface, which is available for all technotrans devices, enables real-time monitoring of relevant parameters as well as direct communication with the machine – for example an injection molding machine or an extrusion line. The gesture-enabled 7-inch multi-touch display in a modern HMI design also ensures intuitive and user-friendly operation.
Visitors to the NPE will also gain an insight into the high flexibility of the thermal management specialist. technotrans covers a wide range of performance requirements and application areas with its product portfolio. “Our strength is our solution expertise: we ensure a constant, precise temperature level for every plastics application and thus make a significant contribution to operational reliability and quality of results,” emphasizes Carbery.
