SPE Thermoforming Division Announces Call for Nominations for ‘Thermoformer Of The Year’

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoforming Division has announced a call for nominations for the Thermoformer of the Year Award.  The award recognizes an individual who has contributed significantly to the thermoforming industry in a technical, educational, or managerial capacity.

The nomination deadline is October 18, 2024.  Nominations will be evaluated by the SPE Thermoforming Division Board of Directors, and the honoree will be announced later this year.

The 2025 Thermoformer of the Year will be recognized at the awards dinner held during the 30th Anniversary SPE Thermoforming Conference®, which will take place May 19-21 at Cobb Galleria Centre and the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.  The awards dinner will be held on May 20th at the hotel.

“This year’s conference theme is, ‘Navigating the Future, Honoring the Past,’” said Juliet Goff, SPE Thermoforming Division Executive Committee Member and Recognition Committee Chair.   “One exceptional candidate will be selected to join prior Thermoformers of the Year in our conference hall of fame.  The 30th anniversary conference will recognize the many luminaries who have shaped our industry.”

The 2023 Thermoformer of the Year award was presented to Dennis Hagans of Hagans Plastics.
