Sepro Names Zambanini Director of Sales & Marketing

Press release submitted on behalf of Sepro.

Sepro Group (La Roche Sur Yon, France), a major provider of robotic automation solutions for the plastics injection molding industry, has hired Anthony ‘A.J.’ Zambanini to be the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the United States and Canada.

Zambanini has over 15 years of experience in the plastics industry. He comes to Sepro from Conair Group where he has worked for 10 years as PET Packaging Market Manager, Regional Sales Manager and most recently as Director of Product Management. Prior to Conair, Zambanini spent three years as Product Manager for Spinworks International, and two years as Plant Project Engineer for Rehrig Pacific.

With a strong technical background and extensive experience in sales and marketing, Zambanini brings a deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the industry to his new role. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in Technical Sales from Pennsylvania State University.

“We are thrilled to welcome A.J. Zambanini into our team here at Sepro. His technical expertise and leadership experience will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of Sepro Group. We are excited to see the impact he will have as we further strengthen our presence in the North American market,” says Raul Scheller, Managing Director, Americas & Asia.

Zambanini is succeeding Jim Healy, who has served as Sepro America’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing since the company began direct sales in the U.S. 17 years ago. For 18 years prior to that, Healy managed Sepro’s sales in the US as Vice President of Automation Sales for Conair Group, which was the distributor of Sepro robots in North America at the time. Healy will be retiring at the end of the year.

“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Jim Healy for his many years of dedicated service to Sepro Group. Jim’s leadership and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the success of our North American operations. There is no doubt that Sepro would not have achieved this level of success in the US and Canada without him. We wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement,” says Scheller.
