Four Process Celebrates 50-Year Manufacturing Milestone

Press release submitted on behalf of Four Process.

Veteran-founded, woman-owned and third-generation family business, Four Process Ltd., Valley Park, Missouri, a custom precision plastic injection molder, is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary and a new expanded facility. Offering injection molding assembly, custom inventory management and production capabilities, the company’s success ties back to the four pillars it was established with in 1974 – communication, honesty, value, reliability.

“Since we first opened our doors in 1974, everything we do is driven by a culture fueled by our four pillars to do whatever it takes to serve our customers,” said Brett Richardet, COO, Four Process. “We come to work every day, grateful for our team, some of whom have been with us over 28 years, to do what we do best. We are thrilled with the success and growth we’ve achieved and excited to see what the future holds for our industry, customers and business.”

Established April 20, 1974, by Hubert Fox, a U.S. Army Veteran, the company was a cast-to-size tooling foundry and machine shop that helped develop unique mold technologies for the shoe, medical device and electronics industries. Today, Four Process delivers short-, medium- and long-run plastic products made of engineered, commodity and/or specialty plastic materials to a variety of industries. The company also offers production capabilities from component sourcing to basic part assembly, as well as custom inventory management to help prevent product, raw material and part shortages.

Continuing and building upon Hubert’s legacy, the company moved to a 23,000 square-foot, climate-controlled, modern facility in Valley Park, Missouri, in 2022. Prior to this move, the company spent 41 years in a 7,700-square-foot facility in Fenton, Missouri. In the new facility, Four Process expanded its molding, assembly and robotics automation capabilities and operations to include 85-to-500-ton presses, a modular clean room, central material handling and additional space to quickly add cells and presses based on customer demand. Today, the company is owned by Hubert’s widow, Ursula, and employs members of the Fox family, including Hubert’s daughter, Barbara, his grandson Nick and grandson-in-law Brett Richardet.

Celebrating the Past, Future
In April, Four Process team was joined by over 150 friends, family, vendors and customers for an open house celebration at its Valley Park location. During the event, attendees toured the facility, and enjoyed food and drinks, entertainment and activities for kids. To cap off the day, the Four Process team was presented with a quality and on-time delivery award from a key customer.

“We loved celebrating this milestone with our employees, vendors, customers and community,” said Richardet. “Without their ongoing support, we would not have achieved all that we have – we are so grateful to all of them.”

To commemorate their 50th anniversary, Four Process has made contributions to organizations that were close to Hubert and continue to be meaningful to his family, including Boys Town, The Salvation Army, BackStoppers Inc., the Alzheimer’s Association and American Heart Association.
