MAPP 2026 Young Professionals Leadership Summit
Taking place just after PTXPO in Rosemont, IL, this two-day in-person event is designed to be an intensive and immersive professional development opportunity for industry young professionals interested in growing their leadership skills and manufacturing expertise. The 2026 Leadership Summit will give attendees firm and applicable leadership skills, allow meaningful networking and problem-solving and connect with industry peers for long-lasting growth and development.
Attendees will join Jen Porett of Wipfli as she guides young professionals through a full day of leadership training. Not only will attendees focus on developing their leadership, but they will also be taken on an in-depth tour of MAPP member DEMGY Chicago and have a facilitated discussion on applicable best practices to take back to their home facility. They will also have the opportunity to contribute their own continuous improvement ideas for DEMGY Chicago to better their own operations. A networking event will also take place the evening of the first day of content.

- How to set clear expectations/objectives for yourself and direct reports — 120 minutes Build clarity and alignment by crafting crisp, measurable objectives, and explicit agreements. Practice framing expectations, defining success metrics, and establishing check-ins that drive accountability and performance—using templates you can apply with your team right away.
- How to coach for growth and development — 120 minutes Strengthen your coaching mindset and skills to unlock growth in others. Learn to ask powerful questions, actively listen and co-create development plans that stick. Practice real coaching conversations and leave with a repeatable framework you can use.
