Paulson Offering Virtual Classes, Seminar

Paulson Training Programs, Inc., Chester, Connecticut, a provider of training in fundamentals and advanced strategies of plastics manufacturing and scientific injection molding, will be offering multi-day virtual seminars in June.

Courses explain the why behind plastics, no matter the process, with presentations by expert instructors. Attendees can understand that plastic only responds to four variables: heat, flow, pressure and cooling. And participants learn that there’s no part problem that can’t be solved.

In addition to Paulson’s revolutionary teaching method, from the “plastics point of view,” the company’s training programs include interactive lab lessons using its exclusive and proprietary injection molding machine simulator SimTech™.

The classes in June and July include:

ProMolder 1
June 16-19, 2020
• 4-day virtual seminar
• Instructor Todd Bryant
• SimTech™ Online Interactive Labs

ProMolder 2
June 22-26, 2020
• 5-day virtual seminar
• Instructor Todd Bryant
• SimTech™ Online Interactive Labs

NEW! ProMolder Problem Solving
July 6-9, 2020
• Five-day virtual seminar

• SimTech™ Online Interactive Lab

In addition to the virtual classes, Paulson is offering the opportunity to gain valuable injection molding troubleshooting skills in its brand new virtual seminar. The seminar is designed to train production personnel to recognize and analyze injection molded part problems and defects from a scientific molding point of view.

In this four-day live-streaming class, Paulson’s instructors will teach injection molders, mold designers and part designers how to identify and correct 11 of the most common and costly molded part problems: voids, sink marks, short shots, flash, weld (knit) lines, splay (silver streaks), jetting, burn marks, warp, cracks and part breakage and controlling molded part dimensions.

Interactive Lab Lessons Included: In addition, each participant will be tasked to solve specific part problems in a hands-on, interactive lab lesson using Paulson’s powerful injection molding machine simulation tool SimTech™. Participants will optimize set-ups, learn to adjust specific machine control settings based on the four plastic variables and calculate material ratios for optimum design solutions.

Learn and connect with Paulson’s instructor in real time, and gain key analytical and troubleshooting skills necessary to efficiently and successfully produce the best parts. A simple, cost-effective, yet powerful way to build skills.
