Designed with customers in mind, the website provides streamlined menus and easy navigation. It offers several new features, including real-time chatting. When visiting the website during normal business hours, a Chat icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. It’s available on all devices – mobile or desktop – weekdays during business hours. After hours or on weekends, customers can email or call Team 1. The company operates 24/7, so someone is always at Team 1 Plastics to offer assistance.
The new website also includes a Team Member Profile section, with a page for each employee that features his or her Team 1 employment background and perspective, as well as some personal insights.
Team 1’s redesigned website retains familiar features, such as the Plastics Pipeline blog, which provides valuable content, ideas, solutions and insights to help move the plastics industry forward, and the company’s News articles. The most recent articles and blogs are featured on the home page, and past articles and blogs are available via the menu bar or through a new search function.
Team 1 Plastics contracted with Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center for the design work and construction of the website, utilizing a MI-STEP grant for partial funding through the Michigan Economic Development Center.
