LS Mtron Forms New Entity and Announces New President

LS Mtron Injection Molding Machines USA, Duluth, Georgia, is a plastics molder who has formed a new entity and named a new president. Effective immediately, the company name now is LS IMM USA, LLC. Peter Gardner, formerly the company’s business unit director, has been promoted to president.

This change was made due to the company’s continued growth in the US and North America. Until now, the company had been legally operating in the US as a division of LS Tractor USA, LLC.

“We have grown to the point where we needed to separate our business activities from LS Tractor USA, and become our own entity,” Gardner said.

In 2021, LS Mtron purchased the plastics machinery division of its US distributor, Daiichi Jitsugyo America Inc. (DJA), which had been selling LS Mtron molding machines in the US since 2018. That acquisition included DJA’s technical service and training facility in Wood Dale, Illinois. It also included DJA’s employees, one of whom was Gardner, who served at the time as DJA’s vice president of sales and general manager.

In 2022, LS Mtron expanded its operations in North America by adding three new locations for parts and services. The company also added several key personnel with significant industry experience. In 2023, LS IMM USA will continue to expand its service capabilities and manpower and adopt a customer experience (CX) lifecycle model to address the needs of its customers at each stage of the molding machine’s life.
