Smalling brings a distinguished career in industrial sales leadership and customer-focused growth strategies to his new role. Based in Atlanta, GA, he joins Rapid Granulator with extensive experience in the plastics and material handling sectors, where he has built a strong reputation for aligning technical solutions with customer production needs. His application-first approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges has made him a trusted advisor to OEMs, processors, and distribution partners across the industry.
Prior to joining Rapid Granulator, Smalling held key leadership roles in sales and marketing within the industrial equipment automation space. His career includes impactful tenures at Conveyors & Drives (Atlanta, GA) and Sepro America (Warrendale, PA), where he honed his ability to develop lasting partnerships and drive sustained revenue growth. These experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of the technical demands and competitive dynamics that define the plastics processing industry.
In his new role as Head of Sales, Smalling will lead Rapid Granulator’s sales organization across Canada and the United States, with a focus on expanding market share, strengthening channel partnerships, and enhancing customer support. His leadership will play a central role in reinforcing Rapid’s commitment to delivering high-performance, reliable granulation systems- ensuring that customers across North America receive the responsive service and tailored solutions they expect from a global industry leader.
