Plastixs, a supplier of equipment solutions for injection molding and material handling, announces that is now selling 55-gallon drums of Paratherm heat transfer fluid.
Paratherm heat transfer fluid is used in many industries, including food, plastics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, and is designed to operate at high temperatures while maintaining thermal stability. It is available in various formulations, including:
- HE: High-temperature food-grade performance. Operating range 37 degrees F to 600 degrees F.
- NF: Food-grade with exceptional thermal stability. Operating range 24 degrees F to 630 degrees F.
- LR: Food-grade solution with extreme low-temperature control without water or glycols. Operating range minus 112 degrees F to 450 degrees F.
- OR: Oxidation inhibiting for systems exposed to air and oxidation. Operating range 40 degrees F to 500 degrees F.
- LC: Cleaning fluid for hot oil temperature control units to clean system while it operates. Operating range 52 degrees F to 550 degrees F.
- MR: Single-fluid, food-grade solution for heating and cooling. Operating range minus 37 degrees F to 580 degrees F.
Plastixs is stocking 55-gallon drums of Paratherm at a distribution facility in the central U.S. for fast distribution nationwide. Paratherm is still available from Plastixs in the original 5-gallon pails. Totes and bulk volumes are also available.
