PCS Company Announces Industry Veteran Jeremy Sutch to Head Its Hot Runner Department

Press release submitted on behalf of PCS.

PCS Company has announced the hiring of industry veteran Jeremy Sutch to lead its hot runner department as the company expands its capabilities for increasingly sophisticated and demanding applications.

Sutch brings more than 30 years of experience in engineering, hot runner and controls technologies to his new role as hot runner business leader. He will focus on developing PCS’ hot runner portfolio and supporting the company’s growth in North America as it prepares for NPE.

“We’re really excited to have Jeremy join the PCS team,” said PCS President Angela Elsey. “His knowledge, technical expertise and understanding of the market make him a perfect fit for our team. He brings a tremendous amount of experience and perspective, and has great relationships within the industry. I’m looking forward to seeing where he can take our hot runner department.”

Sutch spent nearly five years with DME, where he concluded his tenure as director of engineering. Prior to DME, he was co-owner, vice president and chief operating officer of Future Controls Corporation, where he spent more than 30 years. Future Controls provided products to PCS for nearly two decades before Sutch closed the business in 2021.

That experience has given Sutch a long-term perspective on the hot runner industry and a clear view of the opportunity ahead for PCS.

“There’s a lot of opportunity for growth,” Sutch said. “I think PCS has been very successful, and they should be proud of their gains. But there’s room in the U.S. and Canadian markets for us to grow, and to double our sales. We’ve got some untapped potential, and I’m looking forward to rallying the hot runner and commercial teams as we develop new innovations to help molders and mold makers.”

Sutch also brings long-standing relationships across the industry, developed throughout his career working with suppliers, customers and other industry professionals. At PCS, he will lead a three-person team.

“I’ve seen the market develop over that time, whether it be hot runner products, control products, or other technologies,” he said. “I’ve watched the technology advance, and having that knowledge, that history of where the industry’s been and watching it move forward, I think I’m well-equipped to plot a course for growth for PCS moving forward.”

For Sutch and PCS, NPE represents an important milestone as the company works to expand its hot runner business and reach new customers and applications.

“NPE gives us a great opportunity to showcase PCS’ role as a partner to molders and mold makers,” Sutch said. “But we can do even more—we’re focused on becoming a leader in the hot runner market.”

Having worked with PCS in the past, Sutch said he is confident the company has built a strong foundation for the future.

“The entire leadership team has created a great atmosphere, not just for me, but for everyone,” Sutch said. “I think that’s their operating principle. I’m really excited to be here.”
