Absolute Group of Companies, the distributor of plastics equipment in the U.S. and Canada, has named Jeff Brown to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest states of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Brown will be responsible for managing sales efforts for both Absolute Haitian (injection molding machines) and Absolute Robot (automation solutions).
Brown has previous sales management experience with injection molding machinery suppliers Boy Machines, Inc. and Yizumi North America and is familiar with electric and servo-hydraulic injection molding machine technology from 40 to 8,000 U.S. tons. He will be based in Absolute Haitian’s Ohio Technical Center in Parma, near the largest concentration of injection molders in the U.S.
“We’ve grown quickly in the Midwest and felt we needed to have a dedicated regional sales manager to support our customers and sales representatives,” said Sherman McGinnis, Vice President of Sales for Absolute Haitian and Absolute Robot. “Jeff has been involved in manufacturing sales for more than 30 years, beginning with Castle Metals, where he was involved in the specification and sales of metal material for the manufacture of platens for molding machines. His extensive knowledge will be a great asset.”
