iD Additives has reached an agreement with KDG Industrial in which KDG will serves as exclusive distributor in Mexico for iD Additives’ Eco-Pro and Purging Compound product lines.

KDG Industrial will be responsible for sales, technical support, market development, logistics coordination and customer service, working continuously with end users and processors across the country. This includes regular customer visits, application support, training initiatives and coordinated commercial efforts to ensure consistent market presence and responsiveness.

At PTXPO March 17-19 in Rosemont, Illinois, KDG Industrial and iD Additives jointly showcased the Eco-Pro additive line and purging compounds, highlighting their impact on process efficiency, material savings and sustainability. The partners’ key themes centered on cleaner changeovers, reduced downtime, operational efficiency and environmentally responsible processing, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to delivering practical, performance-driven solutions for modern plastics manufacturing. Additionally, KDG displayed comprehensive solutions for mold and machinery lifting from JDT, Vulkaan hot runner temperature controls and water management solutions from Tekno-met.

The partnership’s initial priorities include:

  • Market expansion and customer onboarding, introducing Eco-Pro and purging compounds to key processors across Mexico.
  • Technical alignment and training, ensuring KDG’s sales and service teams are fully equipped to support customers at the machine and process level.
  • Sales coordination and visibility, leveraging joint marketing efforts and trade-show presence to accelerate adoption and brand awareness.

Over the next 12 months, the partnership will focus on scaling volume, increasing regional coverage and deepening customer engagement. This includes expanding inventory availability, growing the customer base and reinforcing technical support capabilities to ensure long-term, sustainable growth in the Mexican market.

“This partnership has been developing since 2021, when KDG Industrial and iD Additives first connected at Plastec West in Anaheim,” said KDG President Carlos Chavez. “Since that initial meeting, both companies have worked closely to align technical capabilities, market needs and long-term growth objectives for the Mexican plastics industry.”

Key benefits of the partnership include expanded market access for iD Additives, localized technical and commercial support for customers, and the ability to deliver sustainable, high-performance purging and additivesolutions through a well-established distribution and service network in Mexico.

“iD Additives brings proven, high-performance formulations with a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability and process optimization, backed by deep technical expertise in additives and purging solutions,” said President Nick Sotos. “KDG Industrial contributes local market knowledge, an established customer base and nationwide reach, strengthened further by its joint venture with Wittmann Mexico, which provides access to one of the most comprehensive sales and service networks in the Mexican plastics industry.”

Customers can expect faster response times, improved product availability, localized technical support and a more direct commercial relationship, both companies said. With KDG Industrial’s local presence and nationwide infrastructure, customers will benefit from shorter lead times, on-site support and tailored solutions designed specifically for the realities of processing plastics in Mexico.
