Press release submitted on behalf of DEMGY.
Class 7 cleanroom will be fully operational before MD&M Midwest.

DEMGY Chicago is expanding its medical manufacturing capabilities with an ISO Class 7 cleanroom that will be fully operational before the start of MD&M Midwest, which runs October 28–29, 2026, in Minneapolis. DEMGY Chicago continues to improve their existing vision inspection capabilities to strengthen quality control, including checks for distortion in molded components.
With an ISO 13485-certified facility already offering injection molding in ISO Class 8 cleanrooms, along with mold design and manufacturing, CNC machining, and assembly, DEMGY Chicago’s new Class 7 cleanroom will expand their controlled-environment production capabilities for medical device manufacturers.
Vision inspection capabilities check molded components for distortion, helping evaluate whether a part maintains the shape required for its application. The focused inspection supports the company’s work with complex medical components, where part geometry can affect fit and function and conformance to specified tolerances is critical.
An established endoscopy handle program illustrates DEMGY’s approach to high-volume medical production. Automation removes the single-use device components from the press, performs 100% dimensional and visual inspection, and packs the parts without direct human contact. DEMGY reports a 20% reduction in cycle time for the program and no customer claims in more than five years.
