Tim Capps Participates in 2025 Federated Insurance® Advisory Council

Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors member Tim Capps was among the 17 business leaders, representing 11 industries and 13 states, who gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona, on February 20-22, 2025, to participate in the 36th annual Federated Insurance Advisory Council. During this two-day session, Tim Capps shared their thoughts on serving and supporting the risk management and insurance needs of exceptional businesses across the nation. Conversation focused on:

  • Common industry challenges and obstacles like legal system abuse, social changes, regulatoryupdates, and natural disasters that can impact business success.
  • The value of risk management to protect businesses from disasters, with a focus on preventinglosses and injuries, and using Federated’s resources for support to enhance success ofprofitability.
  • Hiring and keeping the right employees as they are a business’s most valuable asset and key tolong-term growth, along with developing strong leaders for the future.
  • How and why associations are leveraged to broaden their impact and reach more members.

Advisory Council members heard presentations and shared insights on a variety of industry-related topics during their sessions. In addition, members recognized Federated as a trusted partner in helping to create and provide beneficial risk management resources while providing specialized coverages and solutions.
