Revere Plastics Systems today announced the difficult decision to close its manufacturing facility in Brampton, Ontario, effective June 2026. The company has carefully evaluated its operations in recent months, taking steps to sustain the facility, including the transfer of production work from other locations. Despite these efforts, challenges have made it difficult for the plant to remain financially viable.
The Brampton facility has been an important part of Revere’s operations for decades, with an average union tenure of more than 26 years. Generations of dedicated team members have contributed to the plant’s reputation for quality and reliability. Revere recognizes and deeply values the role they have played in this success.
“Closing a plant with such history and tenure is an incredibly difficult decision,” said Kevin Kernan, CEO of Revere Plastics Systems. “We are grateful for the commitment and craftsmanship of our Brampton team, and we will work closely with each team member to provide support and resources throughout this transition.”
Revere has committed to maintaining operations at the Brampton facility until June 2026. During this period, business will continue as usual, and team members will remain under their current terms of employment.
