Plastics industry solutions provider Globeius has added a mold moving GT Crane that can lift tools up to 5 meters high for insertion over the top of injection stretch blow molding machines.
The new version of the GB750 crane surpasses the previous unit’s maximum height range of 3 meters while retaining the same footprint. The 5 meter version of the GB750 can lift molds up to 992 pounds (450 kg).
The crane is particularly suited to single-stage molding applications and was added to the Globeius portfolio after a molder custom ordered a version of the GB750 crane with the additional height capability.
“GT Cranes are designed specifically for moving molds in confined spaces,” explained Graeme Sands, general manager of Globeius. “This new version is another example of how responsiveness to customer needs drove a new addition to our product line.”
