Conair’s latest products, as well as an interactive demonstration of its AI-driven Conveying with Optimizer system will be featured in Booth 209 at PTXPO 2025, held March 18-20 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
Conair’s booth, one of the largest at the show, features a broad line of the company’s latest auxiliary equipment solutions, including eight products that were introduced at NPE2024:
- Conveying with Optimizer – the industry’s first patented AI-driven conveying control that automatically detects source-to-destination conditions and autonomously adjusts the conveying system in real time to move material optimally.
- ResinWorks™ with Optimizer – an AI-driven feature for Conair’s ResinWorks multi-hopper drying system, that automatically maintains process-ready resins at perfect temperatures, prevents over-drying, and delivers energy savings up to 40 percent.
- Smart Granulator 2 (SG2) control – the industry’s first granulator control to offer comprehensive preventive maintenance features, including a unique Knife Life feature to track the need for knife sharpening.
- SmartFLX mini Conveying Control – a smaller version of Conair’s SmartFLX conveying control, ideal for small plants or work cells, that supports conveying systems with up to three vacuum pumps and 12 receivers.
- AutoRSS – a compact resin selection station that performs fully automated, proofed and traceable material transfers from up to 60 resin sources with a speed and accuracy that operator-assisted fantail manifolds cannot match.
- microTemp Thermolator® temperature control unit – the smallest-ever TCU, sized for medical, electronics, and other processors working with small IMMs, small molds, or cleanroom spaces.
- TB-T Micro Blender – an ultra-compact, 25” tall blender that precisely handles up to four ingredients with a wide throughput range—from 1 lb./hr. to 100 lb./hr.—and an impressive blend accuracy of ±0.5%.
- EH drying hoppers – a line of hoppers that retain class-leading characteristics for mass flow, heat distribution, and cleanability while adding significant improvements in design, durability, and energy efficiency.
LIVE DEMONSTRATION, HANDS-ON PARTICIPATION
On Tuesday, March 18 at 10:30 AM, Justin Carter, Product Manager for Conveying, invites PTXPO participants to see how the latest AI-driven products solve problems and save energy. At Booth 209, Carter will demonstrate live how Conair’s AI-driven conveying technology, Conveying with Optimizer, automatically identifies and compensates for common conveying problems, including air leaks and clogs, to optimize the conveying process and keep material moving. He will also explain how ResinWorks™ with Optimizer, an AI-driven, multi-hopper drying platform, can monitor resin temperatures and adapt heat inputs to optimize resin drying while producing energy savings up to 40 percent over manual operation.
Both of these demonstration platforms are open throughout the show and Conair invites participants to take time and get some hands-on experience in controlling both of these advanced auxiliary equipment solutions. Other live, hands-on displays in the Conair booth include:
- A display featuring five working loaders and receivers, with material feeding managed by a PowerFill portable conveying system. These include a DuraLoad receiver, an Access receiver, a TLR tube loader, a Filterless receiver, and a K-Loader.
- A display of the latest D Series central dryer and dX mobile dryers, equipped with EH drying hoppers.
