Plastixs, a supplier of manufacturing solutions for injection molding and material handling, has begun carrying a highly versatile push-on hose by Alfagomma.
Alfagomma Autolock braided push-on hoses are easy to assemble without additional clamps or tools needed to attach fittings. They are suited for multiple applications: air tools; pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic systems; lubricating oils, diesel fuel and antifreeze solutions; molding and blow-forming machines; robotic welders; and automation and machine tools.
Unlike industry-standard hoses, these hoses combine several important features:
- Higher pressure capability of 400 PSI compared with other hoses at 250-300 PSI.
- Higher temperature rating at up to +212° F compared with other hoses that only handle up to +180° F.
- Flame-resistant cover as approved by the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
- Nonconductive inner tube and outer cover to protect users from shock when used near high-voltage sources.
The full temperature operating range of these hoses runs from -40° F (-40° C) to +212° F (+100° C) and -40° F (-40° C) to +160° F (+70° C) for air transfer.
