Aurora Material Solutions Announces President of its Sustainable Product Solutions/Lastique Business Segment

Press release submitted on behalf of Aurora Material.

Aurora Material Solutions announces the appointment of Mark Stokes as president of its Sustainable Products Solutions (ASPS)/Lastique business segment.

In this role, Stokes will drive the growth and market expansion of Aurora’s trading, value-added reselling, and recycle processing businesses. Stokes and his team will refine and execute the company’s value-creation plan to deliver profitable growth, market expansion and customer value, leveraging Aurora’s extensive capabilities and resources.

Stokes has extensive experience in engineering and commodity polymer sales, distribution and polymer recycling. He joins Aurora from Circulus Holdings (Dow), where he most recently served as vice president of sales, growing Circulus and successfully completing the sale of Circulus to Dow. Prior to that he served as vice president of Material Difference Technologies, where he grew revenue and EBITDA through organic growth and acquisitions. He has also held positions at Premier Polymers (Vinmar International), Citadel Plastics Holdings, Daikin, GE Plastics, LNP, and Dow Chemical.

“Mark has a strong track record of P&L management, organic growth, and leading business transformations,” says Darrell Hughes, CEO of Aurora. “Under his leadership, we will distinguish our ASPS/Lastique business as our customers’ first choice for sustainable polymer solutions.”

Stokes holds a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing from Ball State University and has completed the Executive Management Certificate Program at Emory University’s Goizueta College of Business.
