Italy’s Plastiblow, a leading maker of electric blow-molding extrusion machines, will demonstrate its new double-station all-electric PB15ED machine at NPE 2024 in Orlando May 6-10. Plastiblow machinery is distributed in North America by Globeius, Inc. of Miami.
Featuring a 15-ton clamp, the machine will be producing 500 ml oval cosmetic bottles in HDPE in a 4+4 cavity setup.
The new machine is equipped with:
- Quad parison extrusion head at 4x100mm center distance.
- Extruder 90/28D with high-throughput barrier design screw.
- Servo-drive parison cutting unit.
- Automated bottle take-out units, with servo-driven motors on two axes (YE and ZE). Bottles are picked up in the deflashing station and transported directly onto the merge conveyor, which brings them to the left side of the machine for further downstream operations.
