Miami-based plastics industry distributor Globeius Inc. will showcase key parts of its portfolio for grinding and parts handling at NPE2024 in Orlando from May 6-10, including MO-DI-TEC slow-speed granulators, Crizaf parts-handling equipment and Mouldpro end-of-arm tools.
To meet industry demand for sustainability, Globeius has been stocking more slow-speed granulators and spare parts from France’s MO-DI-TEC. As MO-DI-TEC’s exclusive North American distributor, Globeius is maintaining increased stock levels as continued sales growth is forecast for the foreseeable future.
At NPE, Globeius will display the following MO-DI-TEC equipment:
- Mini Goliath 2, the company’s most compact low-speed grinder, designed for recycling very small sprue (1mm diameter up to 6 mm diameter) including glass fiber material.
- Goliath Plus 4, designed for recycling of small and large sprues, as well as parts beside the press. The Gplus4 features four cutters and five rollers with teeth.
- Goliath Twin plus, designed for nearly double the output of other Goliath grinders thanks to a wider cutting chamber and two gear motors.
“Since announcing our role with MO-DI-TEC and offering free demonstrations using customers’ own scrap to prove how effective the granulators are for sustainable reuse of plastics materials, orders for the machines are on the rise,” said Graeme Sands, General Manager of Globeius.
MO-DI-TEC slow-speed granulators are engineered to be quieter and cleaner than 
traditional units, and they are especially suited for processing engineered plastics into virgin-like regrind, Sands explained. MO-DI-TEC grinders offer ROI he as little as six months, he added, thanks to their ability to force feed large items, self-clear jams and detect metal.

Consistent components across all the company’s products simplify maintenance, and Crizaf experts can diagnose and troubleshoot equipment via WiFi.
At NPE, Globeius will feature the following Crizaf equipment:
- Drum separator
- Incline conveyor belt
- Carousel box filler
To ensure superior injection molding results, Globeius carries a broad portfolio of Mouldpro end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), including grippers, gripper arms and quick-change systems.
