At NPE 2024, Absolute Haitian, Worcester, Massachusetts, the exclusive distributor of Haitian and Zhafir injection molding machines in the U.S. and Canada, will present the fifth generation of the Haitian servo-hydraulic and Zhafir electric injection molding machines. Generation 5 injection molding machines provide molders with an overall performance upgrade, with an emphasis on enhancements in energy efficiency, overall performance and intelligence.
The molding machine technology on display will include four separate machine cells in the 70-foot x 70-foot booth (4,900 square feet) in Booth #W943 in the West Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The show takes place from May 6 – 10, 2024.
For all the new injection molding machine models, the Generation 5 IMMs offer a combination of up to 20% energy savings, decreased machine footprint and improved cycle times. From an intelligence perspective, the newly improved control systems have applied AI algorithms and sensor technology to improve various functions such as energy management, accuracy, consistency, diagnostics and assistance. Other benefits include:
- An electric screw drive (screw rotate function) is now standard on the servo-hydraulic series up to 120mm – this reduces overall energy usage by at least 20% and improves processing stability
- Increased plasticizing rates for reduced cycle times
- Reduced machine footprint for greater productivity per square foot
- Intelligent Energy Management and real-time monitoring
- Improved integration of auxiliary/peripheral equipment and machine monitoring systems
- Larger KEBA control interface with intelligent diagnostics and support
