Press makers Wabash MPI and Carver Inc., Wabash, Indiana, have expanded customer capabilities for lab or production work with new options available for their PNP series pneumatic presses.
Standard PNP pneumatic presses are available in 0.5 ton, 2 ton, and 5 ton models, and standard platen sizes from 8” X 8” – 18” X 18”. New optional features to this line include down-acting clamp configuration, vacuum chamber construction for vacuum assist applications, and UKCA certification to meet United Kingdom requirements.
The PNP series excels in a wide range of applications — from molding rubber and composites to laminating, plastics testing, fluid/resin extraction, destructive testing, bonding, and sample preparation.
Each of these customizable presses is manufactured in Wabash, Indiana, and features table-top or floor-standing, four-post construction. The PNP series also boasts a maximum operating temperature of 500 degrees F and many available platen sizes.
