Conair’s new wireless RFID line-proofing technology simplifies and error-proofs resin distribution, translating source/destination connections from the conveying control into operator instructions guided by color-changing LEDs on the resin selection tabletop. The new system works with Conair’s recently introduced SmartFLX™ conveying control and an RFID-capable Resin Selection System (RSS) table. Each material port on the RSS table connects to a specific resin supply. Flex tubes lead to destination receivers. When a material change is called for, changing LED colors guide the operator to make the correct connections. Only when RFID signals confirm the correct connection can conveying begin.
