Berry Named One of America’s Most Responsible Companies

Berry Global Group, Inc. (Berry), Evansville, Indiana, was named number 35 out of 2,000 public companies on America’s Most Responsible Companies presented by Newsweek and global research firm Statista, Inc. Berry secured the number four spot on the list within its respective industry: materials and chemicals.

The list includes the top 500 most responsible companies in the US across 14 industry subcategories. Companies were evaluated on their publicly available performance data for the three areas of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance).

Berry has placed special emphasis on its ESG efforts, leveraging its global capabilities to help customers meet their sustainability goals. In addition, Berry has increased its transparency on relevant ESG topics.

Berry has announced its plans to focus on environmental sustainability leadership, including its goal to achieve 30% circular plastics use by 2030, agreements to secure over 600 million pounds of recycled material, secured ISCC PLUS certification for 39 sites and more.
