PolySource, Independence, Missouri, a distributor of engineered resins, has announced the expansion of its global solutions through the addition of several warehouses throughout Europe.
“Engineering and development teams at our global customers can now collaborate more broadly with our technical and sales teams on new applications that extend outside the US market,” stated Grant John, PolySource president.
John continued, “PolySource can now work with our global customers from initial application development and sampling to final production by stocking material in Europe.”
Procurement and logistics teams at the company’s global customers have been seeing the benefits as PolySource began shipping materials in April 2019, and bulk truck shipment began in July 2019.
Critical considerations were made in site selection. Strategic partner warehouses were required to offer real-time data sharing, repackaging/bulk handling, cleanliness and ISO 9001 accreditation. Currently, warehouses are located in The Netherlands, Italy and Lithuania.
