Thermoplastic resins distributor M. Holland Company, Northbrook, Illinois, announced an evolved structure of its resale business unit to support continued growth and success. As part of this restructuring, four positions have been created to achieve strategic business goals across the resale organization. Steve Armstrong, Darren D’Olivo, Dave Franco and Frank LaRocque have accepted these new roles and will work collaboratively to support growth across their respective areas of expertise.
Dave Franco, previously the vice president of global sourcing – resale, will assume the position of vice president, resale business unit. In this role, he will lead the entire resale team and oversee the profitability and growth of this business. Franco will also work with the resale sourcing team to ensure margin and working capital performance of the resale product portfolio.
Darren D’Olivo has been promoted to director, resale sourcing. Since joining M. Holland in 2006, D’Olivo has served in many roles, including account manager, regional sales manager and, most recently, product manager, polyethylene. He has been a key contributor to the ongoing success of M. Holland’s resale group, as evidenced by the outstanding performance of the polyethylene portfolio and strong relationships within the supply community.
Frank LaRocque has been promoted from product and market manager of film and flexible packaging to director, resale sales. LaRocque brings over 20 years of experience in the plastics industry across a variety of disciplines, including strategic planning, sales leadership, sourcing, operations and employee development. Both D’Olivo and LaRocque will report directly to Franco.
Steve Armstrong, previously the vice president of global sales – resale, has accepted the new position of vice president of international trading. Armstrong will focus on aligning international trading efforts with the company’s global business strategy. He will report directly to Eugenio Calderón, vice president, international business unit, who joined M. Holland in October to lead its global expansion.
