Intertech Strengthens Medical Operations with New Hires

Intertech Plastics, Inc., Denver, Colorado, a custom molding company specializing in highly engineered, tight tolerance injection molding, has hired Kate Hale as director of operations for the company’s medical facility and Brent Martz as business development manager.

In her role as director of operations, Hale is responsible for managing all areas of manufacturing at the medical facility. Hale has 15 years of manufacturing experience. Most recently, she was systems operations manager for Terumo BCT. Hale also served as Terumo’s senior purchasing agent and continuous improvement manufacturing manager. Additionally, Hale has held numerous positions across management, quality, distribution and forecasting. She received her bachelor of science in business administration in finance and economics from California State University, Los Angeles, California, and her MBA in operations management from Regis University, Denver, Colorado.

As business development manager, Martz is responsible for expanding Intertech’s market position in the medical devices industry. With a 20-year career, he was previously sales manager at C&J Industries, a plastic injection molding company specializing in medical injection molding and contract manufacturing. Additionally, he has held sales leadership positions at Oak Engineered Products, Inc., Stylette Plastics and Haysite Reinforced Plastics. He received his bachelor of science in business administration in marketing from Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio.
