Aurora Plastics to Acquire JPI South Assets

Aurora Plastics, LLC, of Streetsboro, Ohio, has announced its plans to acquire assets of JPI South in Pasadena, Texas. As part of this transaction, Aurora Plastics also has entered into a long-term lease for the former JPI site, a strategic location. The move places Aurora Plastics in close proximity to suppliers and enhances the company’s ability to serve customers in the western and southern part of the US.

The company plans to invest significant capital to bring state-of-the-art equipment and technology into the facility. Upgrades will be completed during the next few quarters. Aurora Plastics anticipates production will begin in the first quarter of 2019 at the Pasadena, Texas, facility.
