Bemis Completes Expansion of Mexico Facility

Bemis Mfg. Co., Sheboygan, Wisconsin, completed the expansion of its facility in Monterrey, Mexico, allowing the company to better serve its growing customer base in this region.

The expansion increases Bemis’ manufacturing footprint – adding presses and further advancing Bemis’ technical manufacturing capabilities in Mexico. The 55,000 sq. ft. plant houses three new presses in the 1000- to 1500-ton range, as well as a multi-barrel machine to enhance both product innovation and processing performance.

Along with the addition of a new 2,600-ton press in 2015, the Monterrey location now has the depth and breadth of press sizes and technologies to effectively serve a wide range of OEM customers.
