Viking Wins GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award

Viking Plastics, Corry, Pennsylvania, has been awarded the 2015 General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award. In the fourth year of Global Supplier Quality & Developments presentation of the prestigious recognition award, Viking Plastics will be accepting its second consecutive excellence award, and third overall (2012, 2014, 2015).
The annual award is given to General Motors top performing suppliers. Viking Plastics was again recognized as a leader in quality, having exceeded a very stringent set of performance criteria. Viking Plastics will hold a ceremony at its plant in Corry, Pennsylvania, later this year, where the companyy will receive an award plaque from General Motors.
With the company’s continued success, Viking Plastics has achieved the cross-functional support of the entire GM organization. According to General Motors, the automaker’s mission is to design, build and sell the worlds best vehicles with the highest levels of quality and safety on the road. GM acknowledges that its success lies heavily on the quality of the parts produced each day.
