OCTEX Announces Organizational Changes

OCTEX, Sarasota, Florida, has realigned its business units to better serve its partners, said John W. Hoskins, executive vice president. The annoucement coincided with General Manager Darren Maydew’s departure from the company.

OCTEX now has three distinct business units: OCTEX, OCTEX Labs and Choice Tool & Mold. Several team members have been promoted to new leadership roles. Dorin Moon, TJ Schuler and Steve Marquis are now the group managers for each unit respectively. Over the next few weeks, these new group leaders will be assembling their teams.

Maydew left OCTEX at the end of April to return to the UK. Over the past several years, Maydew was key in building OCTEX into a world-class solutions provider, Hoskins said in a memo.
