AMP Merges with Mold Rite, Inc.

Accurate Molded Plastics (AMP), Coeur dÂ’Alene, Idaho, and Mold Rite, Inc., Woodinville, Washington, merged their operations effective June 1.
AMP specializes in short-run, highly technical injection molding projects for the medical, aerospace, electronics and fitness industries, while Mold Rite serves the fitness, aerospace, transportation and medical markets. Both companies offer mold design, mold construction and injection molding, and they are known for delivering to precise molding specifications. They also perform a variety of secondary operations, such as machining, sonic welding and pad printing.
Now with two manufacturing locations, the company will offer increased reliability, security and flexibility for their customers. With 45 injection molding machines ranging from 28 to 1,450 tons, the combined AMP and Mold Rite venture will produce a wide variety of custom parts and is positioned to serve an even larger base of customers.
