Viking Plastics Makes Equipment Investments

Viking Plastics Makes Equipment Investments

Plastics Business

In the first quarter of 2013, Viking Plastics, Corry, PA, has invested in new automation in several production areas. These additions include a Ranger Automation robot that will be dedicated to cavity separation in Viking’s newest 16-cavity automation cell, a vision sorting machine and an automated cell for assembly of universal caps.

Also, Viking Plastics will take delivery of a new 225-ton, 13.3 oz. Haitian molding machine on June 29. This new press is a servo hydraulic machine and will offer increased efficiency, process repeatability and energy savings in production of Viking’s proprietary sealing caps.
