The Plastics Technology Expo (PTXPO) is a three-day showcase of cutting-edge plastics processing technologies and innovations, presented by Plastics Technology, MoldMaking Technology and Gardner Business Media, Inc. Held in Rosemont, Illinois, PTXPO is strategically located in the heart of the Midwest, placing attendees in the “Golden Corridor of Manufacturing.”

Recognized as North America’s premier molding and moldmaking event, PTXPO offers an expansive exhibit hall, in-depth educational sessions led by top industry experts and hands-on opportunities to see the latest plastics machinery in action through live demonstrations.
The event also provides numerous networking opportunities designed to connect attendees across the plastics supply chain.
PTXPO will take place March 17–19, 2026, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Exhibit hall hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees also are encouraged to attend the Opening Night celebration, St. Plastics Day, on March 17 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Joe’s Live, a local bar and music hall.
The show floor will feature more than 200 exhibitors across 42,000 sq. ft., organized into major process-focused pavilions to help attendees efficiently plan and navigate their experience. Pavilion categories include 3D printing, auxiliary equipment, extrusion and thermoforming, injection and blow molding, materials, moldmaking, recycling, and robotics and automation. Educational programming will complement the exhibit floor, with sessions covering key industry topics such as sustainability, workforce development, emerging technologies, supply chain management and sourcing.
To assist with show planning, attendees can access the MyPTXPO Planner through the event website. The tool allows users to create a personalized show account, schedule appointments, save exhibitors and products of interest, and build a customized agenda of educational sessions.
The Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors (MAPP) will be exhibiting at PTXPO. Established in 1997, MAPP is led by plastics industry executives and represents more than 475 member companies nationwide. The association provides members with bottom-line-focused programs, benchmarking data, networking opportunities and additional business resources. Attendees are encouraged to visit the MAPP booth to learn more. Plastics Business will also be on-site, with copies of the latest issue of the magazine available at the event.
Exhibit hall tickets are $50 and can be purchased online or onsite through March 20, 2026.
