Polymer manufacturer Aurora Plastics, Streetsboro, Ohio, has announced the appointment of Mike Klein to the position of chief financial officer. In his position, Klein will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including treasury, financial planning, forecasting and reporting, accounting, compliance and controllership. The company’s information technology function will also report to Klein.
Klein joins Aurora Plastics from Avery Dennison, where he most recently served as vice president, global treasurer. Prior to that, he was the vice president of finance for Avery’s global retail branding and information solutions division, where he co-led a transformation that significantly increased the business’s income. Klein started his career with General Electric, where he held several senior leadership roles, including work for the company’s audit department.
Klein holds a BS/BA in finance from the University of Vermont and also is a Six Sigma black belt.
