Micro injection molder Makuta Technics, Inc., Shelbyville, Indiana, has promoted Tyler Adams to vice president of the company.

In his new position, Adams will be responsible for management of the company’s micro molding operations and the associated departments that ensure the quality, overall productivity and on-time delivery of the company’s high-precision products.

He joined Makuta in 2011 as a quality engineer, and has served as engineering manager since 2013. He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and has attained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
