Four Manufacturers Association of Plastic Processors (MAPP) members were among the companies and individual leaders that were recognized with the 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards. The awards highlight companies that have embraced breakthrough innovation, enabling the organizations to anticipate and respond to customers with unmatched agility.
MAPP members that were honored include Nicolet Plastics, Inc., Mountain, WI, Plastic Components, Inc., Germantown, WI, and Plastikos, Inc., Erie, PA, for operational excellence; Thogus Products, Co., Avon Lake, OH, for game-changing technology; and Plastikos for sustainability. Matthew Hlavin, of Thogus, was recognized as a manufacturing entrepreneur. Other winners hail from the United States, Canada, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Switzerland.
The ML100 Award winners will be honored on May 15 at a gala celebration that follows the ninth annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit in Palm Beach, FL.
