True Venture Composites Buys Nicolet Plastics

True Venture Composites Buys Nicolet Plastics

Plastics Business

Nicolet Plastics, a custom injection molder in Mountain, Wisconsin, has been sold to True Venture Composites LLC, an affiliate of family-owned Badger Mining Corp. of Berlin, Wisconsin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

True Venture bought both Nicolet’s business and its plant. All current employees and the management team are staying. The company will be renamed to Nicolet Plastics LLC, and former owner Bob Macintosh will have a new role with the new ownership. John Ogorek, Nicolet’s chief financial officer, will add CEO to his title.

Nicolet has 82 employees and 19 presses, ranging from 40 to 610 tons of clamping force. It generated $14 million in sales last year, Macintosh told Plastics News.
