PCS has named Marc Zaborny as its marketing director. He brings three decades of marketing leadership experience to the role, including previous experience in the plastics industry.
PCS President Angela Elsey said his organizational skills and marketing vision will be invaluable to the company’s continued growth, especially as it prepares for NPE2027.
“Marc is the perfect person to head up our marketing efforts as we gear up for NPE. We’re excited about the energy, perspective, and strategic leadership he brings to our team—and we’re looking forward to sharing that momentum when we meet with customers at the show,” Elsey said.
Zaborny most recently spent four years as marketing manager at DME, where he oversaw the North and South American markets and spearheaded the molding equipment supplier’s NPE2024 efforts.
Previously, he worked for John Deere Landscapes, where, across two stints and more than 22 years, he witnessed the company’s evolution into SiteOne Landscape Supply, the largest wholesale supplier of products for landscape professionals in the U.S. and Canada. During his tenure, he also helped build the company’s successful customer loyalty program.
Other career highlights include a two-year stint at RBL Products Inc., a Detroit-based supplier of detailing and collision products for the vehicle-repair industry. While there, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he built a disinfectant wipe product line within five days, using isopropyl alcohol the company already had on hand.
Zaborny said he is excited to bring together the skills and perspective he has developed both inside and outside the plastics industry.
“I have a deep appreciation for the important role plastics play across so many markets, as well as the innovations PCS is providing to help processors and mold makers improve their operations,” he said. “My experience in plastics gave me a strong foundation and understanding of the market, while my years outside the industry gave me a broader perspective on engaging with customers and making strategic pivots to better serve their needs. I’m looking forward to bringing all those experiences together in this role.”
