iD Additives Inc., a supplier of chemical foaming agents, purging compounds, plastic mold cleaners, preventative maintenance cleaning systems, and other products for the plastics industry, has announced it has named AceTronic Industrial Controls Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario as its distributor in Canada. AceTronic will distribute the Eco-Pro 360 and Cool EX lines of Mold Cleaning Products, and Water Line Cleaning and Maintenance systems.
Founded in 1983, AceTronic is a well-known plastics industry supplier. The company is a distributor of leading brands throughout Canada and is also a manufacturer of hot runner temperature control systems and related equipment. AceTronic is a family company, led by Kim Thiara, President and CEO. Kim Thiara purchased AceTronic in 2008 from her father, Harb Mushiana, the company’s founder.

Eco-Pro and Cool-EX
Eco-Pro 360 is a preventative maintenance cleaning system for injection molds, heat exchangers, and chill rolls; it consists of includes a pump and filter combination unit. It removes, protects, and helps prevent rust and limescale within the cooling passages and water lines in the mold. The built-in filter function allows the Eco-Pro 360 solution to remain at peak performance for optimal reusability.
Eco-Pro 360 Cool EX is a line of all organic cleaning and maintenance products for water lines. Designed to optimize closed-loop water systems, they tackle scale and metal oxide corrosion and prevent corrosion and mineral-scale fouling in cooling water systems.
