Beaumont Technologies, Erie, Pennsylvania, has launched an educational and training initiative for the plastics injection molding industry. The American Injection Molding (AIM) Institute was designed to help advance injection molding throughout the US by delivering high-quality science, engineering and technology-based educational programs to practicing industry professionals.

John Beaumont, president and CEO of Beaumont Technologies, used both his academic and industry background to develop the AIM Institute. Beaumont is a former professor and program chair of the Plastics Engineering Technology program at Penn State. He also was a recent inductee into the Plastics Hall of Fame. Michael Sepe and John Bozzelli, both highly respected plastics industry educators, have joined Beaumont on the AIM Institute faculty.

The inaugural class for the AIM Institute certification program is currently underway. Information about upcoming certification courses, as well as other educational programs, is available at www.AIM.institute.
